Garden Design magazine puts spotlight  on the hottest new plants

Appearing in Garden Design's March  issue, the annual Way Hot 100 list reveals the most compelling new plant introductions as well as deserving yet underutilized plants. From trees to seeds, shrubs to bulbs, our editors have culled the finest selections.

Thus far Garden Design has chosen a record ten Proven Winners ColorChoice flowering shrubs as Way Hot.

"The Way Hot 100 list has gained momentum because gardeners have tuned in to the fashion of plants. Like ready-to-wear lines on the runways in spring and fall, the plants our editors have selected are hot topics in the plant world," says publisher Diane Turner.

Chosen with passionate gardeners, landscape designers and retailers in mind, the listed plants will be featured in presentations throughout the United States. The selections' live debut takes place March 3rd  at the Southern Spring Show in Charlotte, NC. Gardening and horticultural expert Judy Glattstein will discuss the attributes and growing conditions of the top selections during a stunning slide show.

Garden Design magazine, published seven times a year by World Publications, covers creative landscaping and use of plants, outdoor living and exterior design.
