Bloom Color: Large, single, deep violet pink

Size:  8-12 feet tall, 3-5 feet wide

Soil: Grows in about any soil unless it is either really wet or dry.

Pruning: In late fall or early spring. Can be heavily pruned.

Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees & shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application.

A tremendous improvement in hardy Hibiscus.  Strong growing plants with lots of large, brightly colored blooms, the SATIN® hibiscus are clearly superior to older, weaker varieties. Much more vigorous than older varieties.

VIOLET SATIN® has deep violet-pink flowers with a striking red center.  It is a particularly rich color in the mid-summer garden.
