     LITTLE HENRY®   Sweetspire

If burning bush has good fall color then this plant is a wildfire.

Lightly scented, pure white flowers shoot like fireworks in the early summer horizon.  Its mounded, compact stature makes it a big improvement over older selections. Perfectly suited for flooding large banks, beds and borders.

  Itea virginica 'Sprich' pp#10,988

Unique compact shape, and fantastic fall color

What people are saying ...

I love this little guy so much I went back and bought a second one! White wispy blooms in the spring and a wonderful red color on the leaves in the fall. It is also extremely hardy (due to some construction I had to move mine twice within the first year and it is still doing well and showing new growth).

Zone 5, Ohio

Four Stars. Two weeks ago, I purchased one at Sandy Springs, Ga. Lowes Store. Now they have sold out, and I would like to purchase five more. Where in the Atlanta, Ga. area can I find this very nice plant at a retail store? Georgia, Zone 7

A useful native plant with lots of potential for the home landscape.  It will grow in full sun to full shade, and requires little pruning or other maintenance.

LITTLE HENRY® is a dwarf version of the old favorite ‘Henry’s Garnet.’  Less than three feet tall at maturity, it is suitable for mass plantings as a ground cover or a delightful addition to the mixed border.

Little Henry has fragrant white summer flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds.  The green summer foliage changes to brilliant orange in the fall, giving Little Henry multi-season appeal.
