Double Play  Gold  Spiraea japonica 'Yan'  ppaf, cbraf'

One of the main goals of the Proven Winner ColorChoice program is to extend a shrubs color interest beyond the date of flowering. The new Double Play Series does just that. In addition to vibrant flowers, these new introductions turn a double play by providing absolutely stunning foliage especially in the spring when they first break bud.

Double Play Gold spirea is a compact, low mounded beauty with vibrant, pure golden foliage and an abundance of pure pink flowers. In side by side trails with twenty other selections this plant shined above all others in the garden and in our container trials.

The foliage hold a good gold color also season long and has very good mildew resistance.
