Cityline Series of Compact Hydrangea

Tired of floppy, weak stemmed hydrangeas that can't hold up their blooms-  Cityline are hydrangeas are the answer. Large flowers with vivid colors, strong stems and dark glossy foliage characterizes these new German hybrids. They’re all noted for excellent mildew resistance.

GOLDEN LANTERNS® Leycesteria formosa ‘Notbruce’

A cool new shrub that will rock the perennial world. Imagine a graceful, easy growing plant with attractive, clean, bright yellow-green foliage with hints of red in the new growth. In mid-summer it is covered 4” long pendulous drooping clusters of dark purplish-red bracts and white flowers. Follow this with dark purple berries in autumn. It is a fantastic plant for the perennial garden or as a color item for the patio. In the north this is a dieback shrub that behaves like a perennial. This new plant combines the fantastic, fern-like foliage of ‘Asplenifolia’ with the narrow upright habit of ‘Columnaris’. Use it to create narrow hedges or screens, or as an accent specimen or in a patio container. A great choice for the perennial garden, and its narrow habit makes it a great choice for entrances and patio gardens. This non-invasive cultivar is an excellent, responsible replacement for older weedy varieties.

For many years we’ve searched for a better rose; a rose that can be grown like any other shrub in the garden – that will hold it leaves without being sprayed. Working with breeders from across the globe, we tested many new plants, but most flunked the test and developing leaf diseases. It turns out, however, that a few select plants met the challenge and remained clean after four years without disease or special care - and thus the Oso Easy roses were born and have emerged as a whole new class of rose. They’re Oso Easy.

There has never been an elderberry such appeal! Black Lace Elderberry is reminiscent of a Japanese maple with its lacy purple-black foliage.
